Italian Vineyards You Will Visit on Our Tours

Uncover the unique and distinctive features of the vineyards we visit before embarking on your journey.

Welcome to our journey through the enchanting world of Italian wine!

As you prepare for your journey, dive into the rich stories and discover the craftsmanship and expertise behind the vineyards on your itinerary. Italy boasts an incredibly diverse landscape, ranging from the stunning alpine foothills of Friuli-Venezia Giulia to the gentle rolling hills of Piedmont and the tranquil shores of Lake Garda in Veneto.

Each region adds its own flavor to Italy’s legendary winemaking legacy — Italy is the ideal destination to discover the importance of terroir.

In Piedmont’s Monferrato, you’ll visit Tenuta Santa Caterina, a winery famed for reviving the historic Grignolino grape. Under the leadership of Guido Carlo Alleva and winemaker Luciana Biondo, this estate is committed to sustainability, producing elegant and expressive wines, including the celebrated “Monferace.”

Just a stone’s throw away in Roero, the Demarie family marries tradition with innovation, crafting remarkable wines from local varietals, such as their renowned Roero Riserva Nebbiolo and the intriguing skin-contact Arneis called “Sabbia.”

Heading east to the Veneto region, you’ll find Le Morette, located near the serene shores of Lake Garda. Guided by brothers Fabio and Paolo Zenato, Le Morette focuses on eco-friendly practices.

It showcases the zesty freshness of its Turbiana-based Lugana wines, like “Mandolara” and “Benedictus,” along with the delightful Bardolino Chiaretto rosé.

Lastly, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the Borgo San Daniele winery beckons, where Mauro and Alessandra Mauri diligently employ biodynamic methods. Their vineyards thrive in the unique Ponca soils, producing exceptional wines such as the fragrant Malvasia Istriana, the sophisticated Arbis Blanc blend, and the robust Arbis Ros, made from the indigenous Pignolo grape.

Join us as we explore these extraordinary vineyards, each offering a unique reflection of its landscape, culture, and the winemaker’s passion. Whether you are a seasoned connoisseur or just curious about Italy’s wine heritage, our vineyard explorations promise to enhance your appreciation and inspire your palate. Pour yourself a glass, immerse yourself in the experience, and let the beauty of Italy’s vineyards enchant your senses. Saluti!
